Big Brother Naija: What happened between Bisola and I – Baby daddy, Malcolm

Ex-partner of Big Brother Naija Star, Bisola, Malcolm has given reasons he ended his relationship with the second runner up of the reality show.

He described reports on social media that he abandoned Bisola at the altar as lies, adding that they separated because of some personality traits that could not agree.

Malcolm in an interview with the Punch noted that there was no marriage between them as reported.

Reports had it that her baby daddy, Olanrewaju Malcolm, dumped her on their wedding day at St. Leos Catholic Church, Ikeja, Lagos, some years ago.

But Malcolm said: “It is a big fat lie that I dumped Bisola at the altar; there was nothing like that.

“In fact, I’m still looking for the person who wrote that story online because it is malicious.

“We split because we had some personality traits that could not complement each other and there was never any marriage.”

When asked about her conduct and relationship with Thin Tall Tony while in the house, Malcolm said, “I think she was able to go there, represent herself well and also showcased her talent.

“She is a grown woman and whatever she did on the show is her business.”

“She was lively and full of fun while in the house and I guess that’s what viewers want.

“I have always known her as a very talented person and she always goes for what she wants. In fact, she had been in reality shows before Big Brother.”

“Our daughter, Leyla hasn’t really said much about the show, but “naturally, she’s happy that her mother won,” he added.

"I'm not ashamed to be called a tailor", says Elikem

In today’s modern day, many would prefer to be called designers rather than Tailors. This is due to the fact that, the later name is seen as archaic but for actor Elikem Kumordzi, the story is different.

“Honestly I see nothing wrong being referred to as a tailor. I am proud of it. There are people who have issues with that name but I actually enjoy it.

“Though I have people who help me in my line of work, I do sit behind the machine to sew and I design as well,” he said in an interview with Nana Ama Mcbrown on Aben Show on UTV.

CMB PREZZO: How The Promising BBA Rep and Kenyan Rapper Went From A Revolutionary King Of Bling To A Derelict,Dramatic And Dangerous Drug Addict

He blew up circa 2004 and did things no one had done before, said things no one had said before, dropped videos no one had dropped before and came with a swag no one had seen before.
He rose in the speed of light- with a swashbuckling style that quickly made him something of a legend ; filthy rich, stylish, flashy, tenacious, flamboyant, controversial and wild.
He snapped up Nazizi and flew her down to Dar Es Salaam from where he would push her into crafting over five different choruses (hooks) for his signature hit Let's Get Down.
A notorious control freak,Prezzo insisted on nothing but the best...The best recording studios, best video directors, best collaborators, best posse, best songs, best girls and the very best media coverage.
Meticulously,he micromanaged his whole image and presented to the World the first, truly legitimate Kenyan music superstar.
And everything,as they say, almost became history before he bungled up such a spectacular entrance into the hallway of fame.
Everything the man did was BIG - He talked big, walked big, dressed big, flaunted big, dropped big videos, lived big, made big entrances and became almost unassailable.
His net worth quickly eclipsed his music and fans and foes alike were noW more focused on how much the man was worth and not his latest release.
And just like he had planned out,the public played into his hands as he quickly took them on a winding tour of his endless wealth, means and financial might.
Most of it was definitely exaggerated but the man did things his way. And we let him be him.
People were enthralled by his flashiness, his sheeny jewelry, his attire, his fashion sense, his cars and his dramatic arrivals at events.
With hits like Naleta Action,Nawapenda Wo and P-R-E-Z-Z-O,the man became an instant pop legend. He charmed us all... And won us all.
He even dated girls we all wished to meet. And,just to spite us and show us who was the boss,he even crisscrossed town with the hottest woman in town back then - Sheila Mwanyigha - even blinding us with tales of their upcoming marriage.
He became a total showstopper ; a spectacle,a thriller.
Girls swore by his name. Men wished to be him.
Prezzo, back in the Naleta Action era
And then, just like 50 Cent,a man he curiously shares a name with (Jackson) he ignited puerile beefs with the the whole rap world just for the goddam sake of it - but mostly, just to make his presence even more felt and just to dethrone whoever was King before his knighthood.
Bamboo took notice of the new kid's notoriety and responded.
A classic Jay and Nas-esque beef was immediately born- With all the ingredients of a rap rivalry - diss tracks, name calling, trash talking, threats, random fights and radio attacks.
He even went for the King of Dancehall too. But sadly, the Dancehall King was either too busy to engage or too scared to hit back preferring to run to the safe hands of his then girlfriend and sponsor Rose Wahito who ended up caught up in the vicious Prezzo Vs Redsan showdown.
He quickly became a permanent fixture in the Kenyan entertainment scene almost becoming the threshold by which everything Kenyan pop would be measured.
Fame stuck to him like glue. He quit the industry for a minute only to re-emerge,reinvented,as a Reality Show cast member wannabe.
Prezzo's walk into the Big Brother Africa house in South Africa was met with much derision and disdain by many Kenyans both offline and online .
He was taunted and mocked and trashed. We believed he wouldn't last a minute in the house. We knew he wouldn't last a minute in the house.
But lo and behold, the man not only stayed in the house till the very last day,he became the first runner-up in one of the most dramatic,memorable,emotional,spine-tingling,entertaining,thrilling and closely-fought BBA contests in the history of the show.
He became an instant African supernova with adoring fans from as far as Nigeria,Benin,Ghana, Senegal,Ivory Coast and Namibia.
Again,Prezzo, through sheer antics and a larger than life personality, shook the World.
But that seemed to be the end of the man.
After his show-stopping BBA performance,Prezzo's star started to dim. Eventually,it lost all it's light and flickers.
The man was declared dead.
He fell into a canyon of drug-abuse,drunkenness,moral decadence and sexual depravity.
He slept with pretty much every licentious girl in town, courted and bedded all the socialites - emerging and established - From Huddah to Vanessa Chettle to Noti Flow to Soila Cole.
His world became a rotten cave of endless drunken sprees, unhinged abuse of drugs and erratic public behavior.
He even lost weight and lost his mojo... The man became a laughing stock who would pitifully appear as a groupie in Camp Mulla music videos, scrawny and bleak-eyed.
The shiny bling was gone, the grills were gone, the macho was gone, the swankiness was gone.
The man became a ghostly figure,a relic of his former glorious self,a wretch after whom ratty women from Tanzania, with bleached skins and no jobs, were fighting over.
Prezzo on the infamous KTN interview with Betty Kyalo
He didn't rap no more. Didn't drop no more new material. Didn't appear in shows no more and didn't drop them sparkling videos no more.
He morphed into a hazy,street clown,always drunk,always high,always belligerent.
All he did now was make impromptu appearances at VIP parties, drink himself silly, cause commotion, flash out his gun and cause a massive ruckus.
And even when he showed up on TV for a simple sit-down,he ended up displaying severe mental issues that prompted his mother to offer a public apology for his drunken belligerence and for his unsolicited for sexual advances at married TV hosts.
And then the hallucinations began .....
'I once dated Beyonce ', 'Jay Z is jealous of me ' Floyd Mayweather is my personal friend ',' Justin Bieber was my classmate '
The point at which we all confirmed ; the King Of Bling has officially gone mad.
He tried ignited some beef with Jaguar,an extremely successful and high-flying pop star, and it just didn't work.
It just couldn't work.
The allure was gone. The charm was gone. The aura was gone. The status was gone.
It became an endless descent into despair and despondency since then.
Now,the man stars in a shoddy late-night TV show filled with loud, unschooled bimbos and skinny empty heads.
And is now dating a ghetto tramp.
And as we speak, the brother is in police custody arrested over the weekend for attempting to carjack a pilot. Drunk,as usual.
Truly,things do fall apart.
Adios,King of Bling.

Idris Sultan - “I Have No Problem With My Wife Spending Tsh 4.8Million On Weaves”

By now we all know that Wema Sepetu loves to pamper herself with posh things.

On her birthday she bought herself a Range Rover and just recently she revealed that she uses about Tsh 4.8 Million worth R32872 to purchase her human hair, something that shocked many.

Well, most men would have a problem with their women blowing that amount of cash on hair but Big Brother Africa winner, Idris Sultan has no issue with that.

During an interview with Tanzanian Bongo 5 Idris Sultan said that he is very comfortable with Wema’s lifestyle since she works hard to earn her money and does not depend on anyone to support her lifestyle.

The comedian went further to say that he supports her decisions since she is a smart lady who has to maintain her brand even if it means spending ksh 175k on hair.

The Bitter Truth: Why 'Big Brother Africa' 2016 Is Off!

By now you possibly have noticed that for a second year running, hugely popular pan-African show, Big Brother Africa (BBA), is not happening in 2016.

According to a statement from Mnet, the show is still under evaluation and thus not part of the upcoming programming schedule.

“At the moment, the team is busy re-evaluating the strategic direction of Big Brother Africa. Be assured that when it returns, it will be bigger and better,” reads the statement.

When BBA first premiered on Sunday May 25, 2003, it shook African airwaves. For the very first time, reality TV about Africans for Africa, was broadcasting in more than 10 countries. Unlike now, where Africa has been abbreviated to South Africa and Nigeria, the reality show had participants from different countries where MultiChoice has a presence, including Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Angola, Uganda, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Nigeria.

The show introduced us to eventual winner Cherise Makubale (Zambia), Cameron Stout who visited from the Big Brother UK house, among others.

The longest Big Brother Africa season, the first one lasted for 106 days, yet Ugandans enjoyed each day until it wrapped on September 7, even inspiring hit songs for people like Bebe Cool. The show’s shower hour had many glued to their TVs in the morning, and others lounged in bars as they waited for the ‘uncut’ sessions.

The show then took a break, returning in 2007 for a second season with Maureen Namatovu representing Uganda. The days in the house had been clipped to 98; the show host had changed from Mark Pilgrim to Kabelo Ngakane, and it was too predictable.

And that would write the script for subsequent seasons; with each edition, the show’s popularity dwindled. Not even the move to double the number of housemates or triple the cash prize saved the show. It did not help matters that the popular shower hour had been scrapped due to an outcry from the channel’s sizeable Nigerian subscribers that even then influenced what the rest of Africa watched.
The last time BBA got Ugandans talking was in 2013; it was the eighth season and Uganda was represented by Urban TV and XFM presenter Charlie ‘Denzel’ Mwiyeretsi. His sense of fashion and weird dance moves aside, he was the third consecutive Vision Group employee representing Uganda after Ernest Wasike and Kyle Duncan Kushaba, raising questions on whether contestants were handpicked, and not a result of auditions.

Many believe the show had lost its way before producers even thought of re-evaluating it and was simply riding on the success of its premiere season.

“That season was a hit for many reasons; it was fresh and almost all contestants had no expectations,” Hannah Nakuya, who was in S4 when BBA I was on air, says, adding that there was a surprise factor for both the audience and contestants.

“By the time the show came back in 2007, many of the new contestants had watched season one and thus wanted to replicate it,” she says.

Maureen Nakate, a fan that has watched at least three of the seasons, notes that the reason the show is not coming back was because it lost itself.

“At the beginning, they introduced us to 12 nobodies from Africa; by the time they came back for the seasons that followed, they were introducing us to somehow known Africans – models, beauty pageant contestants, artistes and media personalities.”

Look at Uganda’s contestants; after Gaetano who was a law student from Makerere, subsequent season had Namatovu, a budding designer and pageant contestant; Maurice Mugisha, a famous model; Ernest Wasike, a radio presenter and public relations executive; before Kyle and Denzel, both TV personalities; and the last one in 2014: a serving Miss Uganda, Stella Nantumbwe.

But other schools of thought say the show is not coming back because of financial issues. It is said that with dwindling ratings, the show lost advertisers and it became hard to run an expensive show.

Wasike told The Observer, “I think the show has failed because it failed to have a follow- up program that would have the previous contestants be looked upon as people that society would aspire to be. When you are out, it’s back to being in a jungle, yet you have been put up there in public.”

In his view, people did not see the value of actually being in the house, thus the failure to get suitable candidates. Other contestants, however, have Big Brother to thank for transforming their lives. Gaetano was catapulted to continental TV fame thanks to BBA.

Denzel and Sharon O say the show was a lifesaver because of the representation package given to each contestant. At the moment, two things are certain: a full rebrand and strategizing of the show; if not, then the station would have killed the goose that laid the golden eggs. For now, South Africa has had national seasons of its own Big Brother, as has Angola.

Dillish Proud Of Her Kenyan Roots!

Big Brother Africa 2013 'The Chase' winner Dillish Peya Mathews has roots from Namibia (her birth country) and Kenya.

The business woman's father is an army man and hails from Kenya while her mother is from Namibia.

So you can as well call her a Kenyan though she's lived all her life in Namibia and identifies more with the latter than the former.

However, ever since she came to learn about her Kenyan roots, she's been proud and now also speaks some Swahili - a local dialect in Kenya.

Speaks volumes on Dillish's personality, we all should be proud of wherever we come from because at the end of the day, our roots help us get where we want to be - that's the back bone of one's life.

SHOCKING NEWS: Big Brother Africa Housemate Dead!

This is definitely heart breaking and it breaks a heart to be the one to deliver such bad yet shocking news!
News on our desk has it that our very own Eviva real name Nzauka breathed her last late yesterday in Zambia.

Eviva was part of the six fake Emerald housemates who were brought in the house by Biggie during Big Brother Africa 'The Chase' to try and disorganize the real housemates. The likes of JJ, Alusa among others were one of the infamous Emeralds.

During the that edition, Eviva was supposedly in love with Bimp though the Ethiopian didn't reciprocate the love.

Eviva was the jolly playful one and always played the guitar, Africa grew to love her and she really played her part as a fake inmate.
Details about what caused her death are still scanty but rest be assured that we are on the road, just keep it here for all the updates.

Winner Dillish Mathews Can't Wait To Get Married!

The Big Brother Africa ex-housemate looks forward to a day she'll be walked down the aisle in what will most probably be the wedding of the century.

In a birthday wish to his on/off boyfriend Stephen Gaeses a couple of days ago, Dillish Peya Mathews referred to herself as Dillish Mathews Gaeses and if we are to go be her sentiments, she's most definitely having an eye on the 'big day'.

Which lady wouldn't be proud of ousting their inner feelings when it comes to such cravings? We guess non.

Meanwhile, the beauty looks so cute in this black outfit, she's indeed a Duchess.
