Reason to be weary of this BBA season

From the live launch show of Big Brother Africa this week, Star Trail is already worried about how much bad singing is going to be in that house.

Biggie let them bring in guitars, a saxophone, and several below-average singing voices. Since the launch show required the housemates to showcase a talent before entering the house, most of them opted to sing. Badly, on average, although there were a couple of seriously soulful voices.

Now, past seasons of BBA have been characterised by housemates trying to out-sing one another; well, Star Trail predicts these hotshots are going to grate on our very last nerves with the off-key singing and gyrating in front of mirrors.

And that Ugandan girl, Esther…tsk tsk… should not be allowed to sing a word, ever again outside the shower!

Renzioni behind Stellah’s dress

When one of Uganda’s representatives in the Big Brother house, outgoing Miss Uganda Stellah Nantumbwe (Ellah) stepped on stage, the show’s host IK took a second to catch his breath.

All thanks to Ellah’s show-stopping dress. Star Trail has learnt that a Uganda-based Ghanaian designer, commonly known by his brand name Renzioni Hill, designed the high slit dress in black, yellow and red African print.

He also designed for the contestants from Ghana, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. Now, that’s a designer causing waves across the continent.

LK4 celebrates birthday at Guvnor

As many were busy waiting for the start of Big Brother Africa at Guvnor, another clique in a corner had a different agenda. Last year’s BBA representative, basketball player Isaac Lugudde aka LK4, was surprised with a birthday cake by his friends (Team Bull Dogs).

Later that night, he posted on his wall: “Team bulldogs decided to surprise me with a BDay cake! I love these gals with all my heart and I got them for life cuz they are my life!

I’m so thankful for them! Family is more than blood, it’s unity during good and bad times!” According to Facebook, Lugudde turned 19 last week. Huh?! Anyway, belated happy birthday!
