Task: Africa Gets A Taste Of HotShots

There are are many reasons why people across the continent stay glued to  their TV screens; Those looking  for showmances, arguments and fights, the Saturday Night parties,  Nominations, the heartbreaking evictions and so many others. Tonight, those task presentation fanatics just got  served by the hotshots with their first performance.

This week the Hotshots were required to shine by  showcasing their individual talents on  the Big Brother stage  for Africa. As interviewed and answered during today’s Dairy sessions, housemates were expected to redeem themselves and prove to Africa that they can do a lot more.  It wasn’t a battle of who is  the   best but who could shine more than the others.

Comedy? You had to trust that Rwandan dude who is believed to be funny and funny, yes he did it and left everyone’s ribs cracked. Tanzania’s Idris might have lied to Africa about  his  career! Yeah, the nigga too might be a comedian because tonight he was as equally good as the experienced one. ” Now for South Africa who bring housemates with hard names to pronounce(Nhlahnhla) during nominations,  I will go with the South African flag to the Diary Room and tell Biggie that, I am nominating the male of this flag!” Idris said… If you didn’t get cracked by this then you need to be checked!

That was not all, Trezagah and Macky2 came with  their rap songs where nodding your head to the beat was irresistible. We then had a taste of the soft voies of Ellah, Sipe, Sheilla and Samantha who touched everyone. Expecting more? Yes!  There was this pint-sized Esther with her Ugandan dance and the questionable Goitse dance moves. We also had a chance to see Lilian perform  with her poor voice and  she managed to pull it off.

Fashion also featured on the show with M’am Bea coming up with her latest designs in fashion while Sabina changed her comedy mode to a touchy poem  footing up with Kacey. Have I forgotten anything? Oh, How could I fail to mention the  obvious saxophonist?  Hope everyone know her… she became HOH because of her talent. We then had JJ with his tear-inducing song  that left everyone silent.  The performances were wrapped by the group dance  from the portable ladies and same sized lads.

At that particular juncture,  all was left in Biggie’s hands  for the final judgement…… Which housemate(s) rocked it and shone more than others?
