Feature: Botswana & Zimbabwe still in!
With less than a fortnight to the grand finale of the show, it’s quite interesting to see that some of the participating countries still have all their reps inside the Big Brother house but sad for the likes of Rwanda, Kenya and Namibia whose reps were evicted weeks ago. This probably has to do with the way these Housemates play the game or better still how Africa perceives them.
Talking of countries still riding high; Botswana is still going strong with beauties Sheillah and Goitse in the running for the grand prize. These two ladies have had their own shares as far as nominations are concerned with Sheillah going an extra mile of winning the HoH task last week, the only one for Botswana this season so far. Goitse has dodged nominations for a couple of weeks only going up for at least three times. However, Botswana faces an uphill task this week as both ladies are up for possbile eviction, voters will definitely be divided and we all know that each country is an equivalent of one vote so one wonders who will take that particular country vote!
Zimbabwe is the other country that still has two of her contestants on the show with actor JJ and radio DJ Butterphly holding the flag sky high. JJ in particular has showewd massive talent coupled with once becoming the HoH of the house (week 4). Butterphly has equally done a good job for her country but unlike JJ, she’s not been up quite often. This week, Butterphly is not nomninated something that makes her crawl all the way to next week’s finale while JJ still has this Sunday to find out whether he joins his country mate.
All said and done, these two countries seem to have higher chances of having at least a housemates each in the grand finale. However, having two in the finale would be a huge achievement but a disadvantage as they’ll have to share votes.
What’s your take on this scenario?
