Team B’s Play Was A Personal Attack!
The script written by Nhlanhla and JJ for their team to perform at the Extravaganza, was controversial to say the least. It seemed to be an attack on some of the housemates, especially those who belonged to the opposing team. Nhlanhla and JJ were ambivalent about settling with the rest of the housemates so soon after their show as they anticipated blood to boil. Luckily, none openly launched an attack on the boys.
Nhlanhla, JJ, Permithias and Sheillah sat outside and Nhlanhla said that after their performance, he stayed longer on stage in order to avoid confrontations. As much as the boys took hits at their fellow housemates, they were somehow scared of the consequences that they would yield. They shamelessly expressed their thoughts and feelings about other housemates’ characters and went in so far as to criticize them.
Mr. 265, Goitse, Butterphly, Idris, Sipe and Ellah were particularly attacked. The relationship dynamics between Butterphly and Mr. 265 were teased, as was Mr. 265’s constant visits to the bathroom. Sipe’s accent was ridiculed as well as Idris’ leadership. Attention was also drawn to Ellah’s eyes and what she has achieved or gotten ahead with them. Their performance was a long tease of numerous characters.
The last scene of Team B’s performance was all about how JJ and Nlanhla thought and felt about Idris’ game in the house and his “relationship” with Samantha. The group members did not know about the contents of the last scene but JJ had told them that it was a surprise and wouldn’t ruin anything.
The two gentlemen could have perhaps chosen a different platform to express themselves to the housemates if they felt the need to but we were glad not to have witnessed any fights as the skit was rather provocative. What did you think of Team B’s script?
