Last week on Saturday in particular, we published an article regarding Heads of House and the way an Extravaganza win was dodging their reigns following the unsuccessful trials of Laveda, Samantha and Nhlanhla during the first three weeks of the show.

Well, last week after bagging the HoH task, JJ assumed the HoH reigns and as expected, he used an ‘iron hand’ and it definitely did pay off because not only did he help the house win their Wager but also aided his team nail the Extravaganza, thus breaking into Hotshots record books as the first ever HoH Hotshot to win both the Wager and the Extravaganza!

JJ’s belonged to Team A under the theme Downtown Beats. Their story focused on survival and struggle in the city, hopping from one urban scenario to the next. The win automatically gave Team members immunity for this week something that gives the housemates a relief of sorts while in the Big Brother Hotshots house.

We can probably say that JJ’s perceived ‘control freak’ attitude is justified in this case but it would probably have been a very different story had he lost both the Wager and the Extravaganza.
